At SmilesNY, our team of patient coordinators, dental hygienists, and dental assistants is dedicated to maintaining the highest level of professionalism.  They are available to assist you in any step of the process – from scheduling your first appointment to leaving our office with a beautiful, healthy smile. Lorita

Patient Coordinator

Lorita has been in the dental field since 2001.  She enjoys interacting with patients and making sure their visit is as pleasant as possible. Lorita is originally from South America and loves tropical weather.

Lyndsey

Patient Coordinator

Lyndsey has been working in the dental field since 2005 with a history in the hospitality industry.  In her daily interactions with patients, Lyndsey strives to make visiting SmilesNY an enjoyable and personable experience.

Janice

Dental Hygienist

Janice has been a dental hygienist at SmilesNY since 1995.  She has an Associate’s degree in dental hygiene from NYCT CUNY and a BS degree in archeology from Brooklyn College.  She received certification from New York University in local anesthesia and nitrous sedation.  Janice finds educating patients about their oral hygiene and its relation to their overall health the most rewarding part of her career.

Maria

Dental Hygienist

Maria has been working in the dental field for 16 years.   She received her degree in dental hygiene from New York University in 1995 and later received certification from NYU in local anesthesia and nitrous sedation.  When she’s not treating patients at SmilesNY, Maria enjoys volunteering her services to many dental clinics, some as far as Jerusalem.

Leslie

Dental Hygienist

Leslie has been a member of SmilesNY’s since 2000.  She attended the University of Florida and then transferred to Forsyth Dental Hygiene School in Boston, Massachusetts.  Leslie participated in internships at both Tufts Dental School and Harvard Dental School.  She loves her career and is often told by her patients that it shows in her attention to their needs.

Doreen

Dental Assistant

Doreen has been a dental assistant since 1991 and loves her job at SmilesNY.  She is a compassionate people-person who takes great pleasure in helping her patients feel comfortable and relaxed while they receive the excellent care SmilesNY’s doctors provide.

Ivette

Dental Assistant

Ivette has been a certified dental assistant for more than 20 years and has been a member of the SmilesNY team since 2001.  What Ivette likes most about her career is making patients healthy and beautifying their smiles.

Carol

Dental Assistant

Carol has worked at SmilesNY since 1994.  She received her degree in certified dental assisting from the Mandl School.  Carol enjoys the trust her patients place in her in helping guide them through procedures that not only change their smiles, but sometimes change their lives.

Darline

Dental Assistant

Darline has been a dental clinician since 1993 and part of SmilesNY’s dental team since 2000.  She became a certified dental assistant after graduating from the Mandl School.  Darline is fluent in French.

Jaime

Dental Assistant

Jamie has been working in the dental field since 1995. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from C.W. Post Long Island University.  Jamie enjoys assisting in the transformation of patients’ smiles and the positive changes in their confidence that result from the great care of SmilesNY’s doctors.
